Applications are not open yet

We expect to begin accepting them from October 2026. This page explains what you will need, so that you can prepare now.

What we can and cannot do yet

We cannot help anyone yet, and we would rather say so than let you wait. HEART Humanitarian Foundation has no staff or volunteers taking applications, and no funds for direct assistance to individuals. What we will do, once we begin, is raise money for approved cases and send it on.

Email and telephone are not monitored for applications. We do read other correspondence, but an application for assistance sent to us that way will not be picked up and will not be answered. When applications open, WhatsApp will be the only way to make one.

If you sent an application form earlier, it has not been read. The forms that used to be on this page were withdrawn on 13 September 2026. Anything submitted through them is not in front of anyone. You will need to apply again when applications open.

When it opens, it will be on WhatsApp

There will be one way to apply: a WhatsApp conversation, in Arabic or English, from a phone. There is no form to fill in on a computer, and no email address to write to.

October is what we expect, not what we can promise. Several approvals we need are still outstanding and we do not control their timing. We would rather tell you that than give you a date and miss it.

What you will need

Nothing here costs money, and most of it you may already have. Gathering it now will make the application quicker when it opens.

A WhatsApp number you use yourself

Everything happens there — the application, the questions, and news about the campaign afterwards.

An identity document

A passport, national identity card, driving licence or residence permit. It may be expired; we know renewal is not possible in Gaza.

Your own face, on camera

You will be asked to take a photograph of yourself at the time, to confirm the document is yours. This is also what lets us find your account again if you lose your phone or your papers.

A crypto wallet address that only you control

An Ethereum (ETH) address is required. You may also give BSC or TRON addresses, but ETH is the one we need. ⚠ It must be a wallet you can open yourself — not a relative's, not a friend's, and not one shared with another family.

At least four different photographs

Of your family or your shelter, taken by you. They must be four different pictures; the same photograph sent four times does not count.

Your situation, in your own words

Who is in your household and their ages, where you are living now, what has happened to your home, what you most urgently need, and what the money would be spent on.

There is no cost to apply. We will never ask you to pay a fee at any stage.

What happens next

We review what you send

Every application is read by our team. We may come back to you on WhatsApp to confirm details or ask for more. We cannot approve every application, and we will tell you either way.

We build and run a campaign

If your application is approved, we write a campaign with you, in your own words and with your own photographs, and put it on an established fundraising platform. We tell you when it is live.

Donors give to the charity, not to you

This is the part worth reading twice. Money donated through a campaign is given to HEART Humanitarian Foundation and becomes the charity's property when it arrives. We are not collecting it on your behalf and we do not hold it for you.

We send funds to approved families

We apply what is raised to your case where it can proceed. Where it cannot — or where a case is already fully funded, or money is left over — we apply it at our own discretion to other approved families in the same situation. That is how a registered charity is required to work.

Not every dollar donated reaches you. Your campaign runs on a platform that asks donors to cover its own running costs separately, so nothing is taken out of a donation before it reaches us. We then keep no more than 4% of what arrives, to cover currency exchange and the cost of moving money into Gaza. It is cost recovery, not profit, and our donate page sets out how it works for every way of giving.

So what can we promise you? That we will read your application honestly, and that if we approve it we will raise what we can and send it to you. We cannot promise an amount. Some campaigns fund in days, some never fund, and being approved is not a guarantee that any particular sum will reach you. We would rather say that now than raise a hope we cannot deliver.

Beware of anyone charging you

HEART Humanitarian Foundation never charges applicants or beneficiaries a fee, and never asks for payment to process, prioritise or release an application. If someone contacts you claiming otherwise in our name, they are not us.
